What IS Oddy & the Siren?
Bringing elements of Jerry’s studio to the stage, Oddy & the Siren features songs in what he calls an “Eclectic Electric” format. Jerry’s technical expertise with guitar, synthesizers, and production are thoroughly put to work, all for the sake of giving the audience a variety of sonic textures to enjoy. This separates O&tS from other performers in that the songs don’t “all sound the same.”
WHO is Oddy & the Siren?
O&tS is a performing musical duo featuring Jerry Bergeson and other talented vocalists from the area. They play mostly covers based on the genre of his original music, which they occasionally showcase. Their song list is diverse and made up of songs from the 70’s up to today.
Jerry is a long time professional guitarist, vocalist and producer and is the founding member of the very popular Denver based 70s Disco band Boogie Machine, as well as its 80s counterpart, Ronnie Raygun & the Big Eighties. Both are still going strong after more than 20 years in the area.
Being somewhat of a “studio rat”, Jerry runs his own recording studio and has a love of bringing elements of that hi-tech environment to the stage.
Live performance is something he lives for. Needing an outlet for all that pent up energy, he has put together a collection of cover songs that fill up the night with musical story telling and fun.
